MALLORCA ROCKS CLOSING PARTY WITH TWO DOORS CINEMA CLUB

In previous years we have never released our Closing Party line up before the season starts but this year we’re breaking that tradition in spectacular fashion.

We can officially confirm that the awesome Two Door Cinema Club are on board to close the 2012 Mallorca Rocks season in September.
Two Door Cinema Club are one of the most exciting and in demand bands of the moment. The Northern Irish trio have been wowing audiences at some of the biggest festivals and venues around the world with critically acclaimed debut album Tourist History producing the massive indie hits ‘I Can Talk’, ‘Undercover Martyn’ and the summer anthem ‘Something Good Can Work’.

Speaking about closing the season in style the band said: ”We’re very excited to be playing Mallorca Rocks next year it’s going to be a fun show. We’ve spoken to other artists who have performed there and it’s supposed to be a crazy party! Looking forward to it”
The perfect end to our biggest season yet? We can’t wait!

MALLORCA ROCKS WITH NEW ORDER

Our summer line ups are always packed with the biggest international artists and the most exciting breakthrough talent but in September we have made it a tradition to celebrate some of live music’s true pioneers. This year is no different.
This summer we are honoured to welcome one of electronic music’s true trailblazers to the island for the first time as the newly reformed New Order make their massive Mallorca Rocks debut in September.
The Manchester collective are largely responsible for producing some of a musical generations most defining moments. The opening of the world famous Hacienda Club in 1982 and the release of their 1983 hit Blue Monday (which remains the best-selling 12 inch single of all time) really set the template for merging club culture with live music.
